Our Very First Anniversary!

Reed and I had a very nice anniversary. We went out to dinner at Gino's, the place where we had our first unofficial group get-together. You couldn't call it a date that night, but I think a girl in our ward thought Reed and I should date, so she threw together this get together, and invited us both. It worked, because I sat by Reed all night, and only 2 long months later, he finally asked me out! Anyway, back to last night, we had a great time, ate lots of food and reminisced about life. And thought ahead to where we might find ourselves in a year. Overall, we had a nice evening. Reed also brought me home flowers from his parents house!

I think the most romantic part was the wild boar and the grub pasta. No, really.

To clarify, wild boar was the "special" dish of the evening (oh, and it looked appetizing, too). Two members of our group got it. It came with a side of pasta, which I don't know what kind of pasta that was, but they looked like giant grubs. After I pointed that out nobody wanted to eat it. :) What would people do without me around, really?

And by the way, that story really has nothing to do with Alysa & Reed's first "date" at Gino's, other than they were sitting across the table from the giant grubs and wild boar making a love connection.
