News for November

Only 6 days left now until we sign on our house, unless there are some unforeseen issues. We're super excited! We went and got a nice second-hand fridge, and we still need to find a washer and dryer set, hopefully also second hand. We've been checking craigslist a lot. That is a very helpful website. :) In other news, Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat. :) Actually, I am officially 3 months today, and I believe that I will be entering my second trimester next Saturday! Woohoo! 11 weeks seemed to be the magical number in this pregnancy because that was the week I felt back to normal, no sickness, and my energy level seemed to be back to normal as well. I am feeling really good and have already noticed my baby bump to be bumping itself out there. Not much other news, other than the fact that I am really excited for the holidays and have already started my Christmas shopping! I need to help support our slowing economy by sharing what little wealth I have and putting it out there in the stores! I suggest you all do the same. :) Thank you and goodnight!

Okay, Alysa, I'm going to have to take you to task here. I officially despise the phrase "baby bump," because it makes me think of US Magazine and other Hollywood idiots.

Why not call your belly something equally alliterative but that has nothing to do with Hollywood? Something like -- infant increase. As in, "Look at the infant increase on that woman!" Or maybe "papoose protrusion." Or better yet, your "jutting juvenile." As in, "My jutting juvenile is getting so big, I no longer fit into my regular pants."

Just some suggestions.

Good point, genius. I would hate to sound like a hollywood gossip magazine. I think I'll have to keep thinking to see if I can come up with something a little less tasteless.

Just a random genius IS a genius. Very true. Whatever you call that thing making your belly pooch is great and I bet you look so cute!
