Why do babies, as soon as they lay in the warm water that is in their bath, feel the need to empty their bladders? As in, go wee wee! I noticed a few baths ago that cute little Aftyn, as soon as she felt settled and all warm in her bath, just let it go. Which I wouldn't have even noticed except that I was looking in that general area to make sure that WASN'T happening. And then she did in her next bath also. Does this happen EVERY bath time and I'm JUST noticing? Ew.

Just wait.....she will poo in the tub some time as well.....It has happened with all of my kids and all of my friend's kids too! At least they have grown out of it now!:-)

She has pooped several times in the bathtub, but generally only when Reed bathes her. Lucky guy. :)
How can you resist such a cute girl?! Love the pictures. You are a lucky mom!
Two things:
I remember being a kid and going swimming and something about being immersed in that water made me wanna pee. Admit it, you probably experienced that too.
Second:
Pee is totally sterile. So it's ok. . . For kids. Not me. NASTY! Whenever I go in a public pool now, I have to psych myself into it and to not think about all the urine I could be potentially be swimming in.
You may have totally lost respect for me with that one. But I'm just keeping it real.
Hey, just so long as we're keeping it real - the last time I saw her go wee, I thought, "you know, if every time she bathes she goes potty and we wash her and everything and she still smells clean, then I'm not going to drain out the water and start again. This water will be fine." So, she was bathed in wee water. :) And she smelled clean.
