1917 - 2009
Our wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend left us and her home on earth on Friday, February 6, 2009 to be with her eternal companion, our Dad. She was 91 years old.
This was a totally expected death, and I was so happy for her to hear that she had finally passed away. Her liver had stopped functioning, and she wasn't doing well. The funeral was actually so happy and it was great to see extended family after such a short time since my grandpa's passing.
I've been growing! Sorry I don't have any picture to post, but this one pretty much looks about as big as I am, but doesn't show how big I really feel.

Saying goodbye to my oldest brother and most of his family who are moving to the Dominican Republic for the next 3-4 years. We're going to miss them, but hopefully we (Reed, baby and I) can plan a trip to go and see them. Who would miss out on the chance to travel to the Caribbean to visit family?

Trying to come up with cute Valentines Day ideas to give to my hubby. I've got my idea now, but what good ones have YOU come up with? You don't have to tell me the one you're doing this year, but tell me some of the fab ideas you had in years past. Also, for the single readers, what fun things have you done for yourself when you were single on Valentines?

I didn't get a chance to visit with you at all, Alysa. I just realized that on the plane today. I am sorry. By the way, I do not think that you are large!!! You are looking just right for a pregnant lady!! I hope you are feeling all right too. I really enjoy reading your blog. Thanks for taking the time to do that.
On Valentine's Day I usually I eat a half gallon of ice cream and a pan of brownies and cry until I get sick. That's about it.
By the way, I think you're looking pretty humongous. Are you sure you're not having twins or triplets?
Just a Random Genius did not say you were humongous did she?!!!
Good update. It's always strange to hear about people happy with a death. But I understand. Glad they are together again.
And I would love to see your belly shot! I bet you look adorable.
I STILL don't know what to do for Steve for V day. It's horrible. I guess if I managed to get myself out of bed, get dressed, do my hair, and put some makeup on, it would be a miracle. He hasn't seen me looking good for like 6 weeks. I am the one who needs ideas here. I think I'll be checking back to see if anyone commented with one.
Hmm, you are looking rather pregnant these days. Why not work on that list of potential invitees to your baby shower while you are thinking of ideas for Valentines Day.
Alyson - what a great idea. I actually just had that thought pop in my head today while at work.. So, since I was at work, I put it off until another day when I have nothing to do. I'll try and accomplish it this weekend - for reals.
Here's my really good V-Day idea from one of my brothers, who shall remain nameless. He gave his wife a list of 100 things he loves about her. Is that not the sweetest idea? I would love that gift. He said his wife considers it the best gift she has ever received for V-Day. (Disclaimer: This is not what I am doing for V-Day, just an idea for anyone who needs one.)
