Growing Pains

I'm trying to come up with a cool title, and that's the best I can do.

Aftyn went to the doctor and we found out she is in the 95th percentile for her height and weight, and 80th for her head size. Sounds good to me! Also, she did pretty good with her shots. Other than her legs being sore, I've never seen her smilier!

Reed has done a great job at being Mr. Mom. Aftyn has been well fed, bathed, had diapers changed, he even called the doctor for her on Monday to find out about this cold she's been trying to get over. What a good daddy! Reed told me on Monday that according to what he's heard from other men about what they do for their kids, he thinks he's underappreciated because he does a LOT more than he hears them talking about. Isn't that too funny?! I told him I appreciate him very much, as does Aftyn. One more week of Mr. Mom-ing it, and then he's back to work!

Cute picture for your header! Very clever, indeed!! It's been awhile since I've been lurking on blogs, so I just saw those darling pictures of Aftyn in her bumbo. So cute. She looks so proud of herself, sitting up like a big girl!! And her little flower and piggy tails crack me up. They're so cute.
Tell Reed goooood job for being Mr Mom. It IS a lot of work, and some guys are better at it than others. (most of the Bishop Boys are best, I think.)

Such cute family pictures, Alysa and Reed!!! I love the one with the three of you on the ground. Very casual and cute. Those are such wonderful memories. We love you all very much. Mom

I love your comment about Reed. The other night Matthew said something to the effect of "some men make it look bad for the rest of us good guys" as he was doing the dishes and cleaning up the house for me. I think a lot of guys just don't talk about all the good they do.
