And off went my hair to Locks of Love.
No pictures because all my pictures look crazy bad.
Okay, maybe one pretty bad picture.
I feel like a new woman! And look like one too. ;)
This haircut was thanks to my mom and sister
dropping in and taking my oldest girls with
them for the rest of the day.
What a nice break that was.
Especially since this is the 4th week in a row that
Reed has had to go out of town for work for
the majority of the week.
I'm going a little crazy.
And in other news, thanks to Bronwyn and myself,
Mirren managed to wiggle her way off my bed and
fell onto our carpeted floor. Head first.
Poor kid. She's going to be a sensitive child I think.
She cried and cried and then cried some more.
It scared her, scared me and then she just needed to be
consoled and let out all her feelings about it.
No bump appeared and after an hour no sign
on her face or head at all that it had occurred.
Babies are tough little things.
I'm sure glad Heavenly Father made them that way.

I love the new look of the blog! And, your hair looks so CUTE!!!! I'm glad Mirren survived the fall. I hope your husband is home by now!! Tell him not to leave for at least a week!!!
Love you guys!!
Wendy
LOL Wendy I have told him he needs to be home for awhile. I have a couple of outings for myself planned for this week to shake off some of that "there's no one to help me here and it's all on my shoulders" feeling. ;)
And thanks for the kind words on my haircut! I've got to practice with it a little more so I can see the different things I can do with it.
Wow! 12 inches is a ton! Good job! I know how you feel about the baby falling off the bed. Sammy fell off when she was 3 months old when she rolled over for the first time. At the time we were living with the in-laws and the bed we were on was REALLY tall. So not only did Sammy fall off the bed... she hit the wooden steps used to get into the bed. Ouch! And on a totally different note... I can't believe we weren't project buddies, either. I remember thinking I needed some of your sewing skills. Another day---another time.
Can't wait for that day and time Ally! :) If the headplant had happened with Aftyn and not Mirren, I would have felt SO guilty. Something about the 3rd child, I understand some things are just accidents and I try to do better next time. I guess I'm quicker to give myself a break, LOL.
How did you and Bronwyn make Mirren fall off the bed onto her head? Now I'm curious.
I asked Bronwyn to check on Mirren. Bronwyn tried to "bring" her to me without telling me which I'm guessing moved Mirren to the edge of the bed and within 5 minutes of Bronwyn checking on her and me not checking up on what Bronwyn did, poor Mirren wiggled herself off the bed. And smack dab onto the floor with a red mark on one side of her face. Poor thing. She was pretty shaken up by it all, as I can only imagine how scary that is to feel yourself falling with no way to catch yourself.
I love, love, love your hair. :) Poor Mirren :( Miss Bronwyn is such a helpful little girl :)
Cute hair. I bet it feels so nice and light now! :)
And as for poor Mirren... as Mom Bishop would say, good thing babies are made of flubber! ha! If it makes you feel any better, Camille has already seen the floor. She tumbled off our ottoman in our room, while both Brian and I were sitting right there, talking to each other. No other kids even around to blame! Who put her on the ottoman anyway!?? :( Again I say, Flubber! :)
Aside, after seeing you guys last weekend, Natalie has told me several times, "Mirren looks kind of boyish." One time she even said, "I think maybe Mirren turned out to be a boy after all." I'm not sure what it was... the hair, her outfit, Reed holding her?? I thought it was funny. She sometimes tells me Camille looks boyish too.
