Oh this girl. So typically two.
We're currently worried about her eyes.
Her drooping eyelid seems to be drooping into her line of vision, which may mean a surgery to correct it. And she seems to have the same problem Aftyn has of a weak eye and a strong eye.
Often that means she watches tv or other things with her eyes at a V angle.
Eye appointment in a few weeks.
She carries around quite the entourage of toys usually.
Her "moo" is a constant while the other toys seem to change daily.
She makes me giggle. She also makes me crazy.
Sounds pretty typically two.
I love her sweet hugs and kisses.
She is the snuggliest kid in our house,
always taking us up on offers to sit on our laps and her blankie must always accompany her.
What's a snuggle without a blanket?

Claire's pediatrician noticed something similar at her 12-month appointment. Got atropine drops a few weeks ago from an ophthalmologist to keep her good eye from getting weak (I think?). I hope it really is a solution and not just something I'm putting her through to have surgery later on anyway. She told me it was best to do this now in hopes it doesn't develop into something Kami had and have to have surgery.
Those drops are the same thing we used for Aftyn in helping her weak eye get stronger. They really work!! I'm thinking that's what we'll be doing for Mirren as well. Watch out for headaches. Once we weaned Aftyn off of the drops, her headaches also stopped. Eye problems and headaches go hand in hand. Hey, I just remembered! Our opthamologist also recommends Omega 3's daily for kids. Bronwyn had an astigmatism and was having headaches and was potentially looking at getting glasses, but our dr. had us try those vitamins and making sure she was getting plenty of water daily and within 6 months, her headaches were gone and she DOESN'T need glasses anymore because her eyes are better! Cool, right?!
