Hi- You don't know me, I'm Alyson's friend from Michigan. She posted a link to this post to show off her cool do when she was younger. haha. Anyway, I just wanted to warn you. About 4 years ago I wanted the exact same type of perm for my hair. It was healthy long and straight, and I wanted big wavy curls in it. I went to a stylist and I ended up getting Mexican hair. It was nothing like I wanted. My hair ended up getting so damaged too, I totally regreted it. I just wanted to share my story. I will never perm again. Hopefully you'll find a better stylist though.
