All right ladies and gentlemen, I want a haircut!
Here are your choices, all I need is YOUR opinion.
I need some opinions - Reed is afraid of me cutting my hair too short, I just want to make sure my hair is long enough for a ponytail (it's easier to run with a ponytail dontcha know?).
(I may or may not listen to anyone's opinions, but it's still fun to get them.)

Aftyn looks super chubby in that picture. Her cheeks, I mean! (I wonder where she got those chipmunk cheeks.) Did I get you all obsessed with hair, or were you thinking about it already? Here's what I think you should do. Grow it loooong, all the way to your waist! That's what I want to do!! Be like me!
Thanks for the idea Laura. I appreciate it, but sadly will not be taking that advice. I want something different from my long hair I currently have.
And yes, I have had these haircuts picked out for about 3 months, just have been busy focusing on other things and just started thinking about them again this week.
I like to go to a stylist that I trust, lucky for me I've always had a good one in my ward. I go to their salon (and only if it's not somewhere like supercuts or something...if I'm planning on really changing things up). Then I ask what would look best for me, and if her idea isn't too outrageous, I let her do it. I haven't told a stylist what to do with my hair for 5 years.
This may be why I have no dates.
Yay for new haircuts. I like either cut and think they would both be cute on you. But my advice is this... If you're dying for a real change, go for the shorter one. It will look and feel totally different from what you've had. And, if it's not exactly what you're after, you just have to wait a few months and it will be long enough to go for the longer one.
On the other hand, if you just want to lighten the load a bit, the second one looks darling, too... but just not so different from "long." -- if that makes sense?
Either way, have fun with your new do! I love a new haircut, most of the time. Can't wait to see your results.
Alysa, here's the sad truth. Husbands love long hair on their wives, it's just in their mentality, I can only assume. I was sitting at a table at Enrichment night having this conversation with about 6-8 other women and everyone of them said the same thing. BUT just because that's what they say they want, doesn't mean that's what you will look your best in.
Take me for instance: Brett told me not to cut my hair too short, I have a chunkier face right now and I should wait and yada, yada, yada . . . I decided to do it anyway, and I went to my hairdresser (who is awesome by the way! and she knows how to cut just about any cut and has been cutting hair for 25 years, etc, if you need a hairdresser this lady is one of the best!) and, long story short, she cut it. I came home and Brett has never been so enamored of me. He loves my hair and it's not too short, but just short enough for him to call me sassy and look all excited when I'm all dolled up. :D So if you feel good about it, just do it. Just make sure it's a cut that will work with the type of hair you have (fine, medium, or thick). Good luck!
Oh I like the first one! You would look like such a babe! I love it! Can't wait to see it!
